Meena H. Rajan
Meena Rajan has been a practicing attorney since 2011 and has been focused primarily on family law since 2012. She has handled complicated relocations cases, contested custody issues, spousal support battles and complex equitable distribution cases. In addition, she has experience with criminal defense and understands the interplay between family law and criminal-adjacent issues, including Protective Orders. She has appeared in courts in Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Alexandria and Arlington counties.
Meena loves working with clients and helping them navigate difficult situations and reach a resolution that is best for them and their family. Meena understands that there is no one size fits all in family law. She is cognizant that a protracted legal battle is often not the best thing for clients but is always willing to litigate when the situation warrants it. She takes a practical approach to her cases and works hard to develop strong relationships with her clients.
Meena graduated cum laude from George Mason University School of Law in 2011. She is admitted to the Virginia Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia Bar. Prior to attending law school, Meena worked in the Human Resources field for over five years. While she grew up in New York and Connecticut, she is a 20+ year resident of Fairfax County.
